Date: February 13, 13th, 2010
Since ancient times all the elements of gold coins was the most esteemed man. The desire for gold has influenced its history markedly and was a decisive factor in the development of chemistry. The cry of gold has lured men across oceans and continents, on the highest mountain peaks in the Arctic tundra in the scorching deserts and through jungles impenetrable.
Its light has led expeditions and conquests of Jason of Thessaly, Cyrus and Darius of Persia, Alexander of Greece, Caesar of Rome, Genoa, Columbus, Cortez and Pizzarro Spain, Raleigh of England and many others throughout the history. According to Pliny the Elder in Naturalis Historia (79 APR. JC), gold is the first of the follies of man and the second money.
